Our country is experiencing a financial meltdown like I have never seen. People are losing their jobs, many houses are valued below what buyers paid for them, and the automotive industry, which sustained a multitude of other businesses, has been decimated. Living in Michigan, I am seeing the worst of it.

The consumer has had to budget their finances in accordance with the downturn in the economy and has had to look for value in each dollar they spend. Most businesses are lowering their prices to attract these consumers.

Artists are following that pattern, also, and are reducing their prices in order to accommodate this new economy. You will find the prices of my paintings substantially lower than what has been charged in the past. Depending on how our economy plays out in the future, these prices may either remain this low, or increase as people feel more comfortable with their financial situation.

Some of my paintings are available directly through me and others are available through art galleries that represent me. All pricing is comparable whether it is bought from the artist or the art gallery that represents the artist. Buying from the artist does not mean lower prices than at a gallery. If there are any paintings you are interested in, please call or email me and I will give you the price, if I have it in my possession, or will direct you to the gallery that has that piece.

If you choose a painting that is available through the artist, you would have 2 weeks upon receiving it to decide if it meets your approval. If it does not, you could return the painting to the artist within that 2 weeks and your money would be refunded in full. You would be required to pay for return shipment, and the painting would have to be received by me in the same condition that it was sent to you. You could use the same box and wrapping to return the painting so it would not be difficult to ship. If you buy through a gallery that represents me, you would want to talk to them about their terms, as each one will have different requirements.

All works are oil painting on masonite board, are unique and one of a kind, and come elegantly framed.

I accept payment through Paypal, check, or money order. Within the United States, PayPal charges a fee between 1.9% and 2.9%; purchases outside the United States they charge 3.9%. These fees would be added onto the price of the painting along with any duty fees charged when shipping out of the country. Michigan residents should add a 6% sales tax.

I am willing to work with people that would like to put 50% down on a painting so that the remainder could be paid off within an agreed upon time period. The painting would be shipped out to you once the total amount had been received.
