Giclée prints are derived from a French term meaning "spray of ink". The word giclée describes a quality print generated on a high-end fine art printer. This technology recreates virtually every subtle nuance of the original artwork, delivering crisp detail and intense color that is vastly superior to other forms of fine art reproduction. The results are museum quality prints that are hard to distinguish from the original painting.
- All prints are signed and numbered by the artist
- All prints are a limited edition of 200 unless otherwise noted alongside the print picture
- Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist
- Each print is an original, six color giclée print, using UV resistant, pigmented inks and printed on heavyweight, high quality, smooth canvas
- The image is protected by a non-yellowing, water resistant clearcoat that increases the resistance to image fading and allows light cleaning of the print
- Price indicated is for unframed prints
- Prints are rolled up in a heavy cardboard mailing tube for shipping
- Prints can be framed either by stretching on wood frames and then inserting into the frame such as an original canvas painting would be framed, or, it can be drymounted to a backing board and inserted in frame. Glass is not necessary because of the clearcoat that protects the print.
